Founded in 1975, Moonji Publishing has published some 3,000 titles (literature, humanities, academic, YA, and children’s books) over nearly 50 years. Our books give rise to deep reflection on Korean society through sharp exploration and delicate reading, and actively realize Moonji’s reflective possibilities regarding social oppression.
In the midst of the K-culture boom and the rise of diversity (gender and racial) issues in the Western publishing world over the past four to five years, Korean literature has received unprecedented attention. However, in the wake of the global pandemic, it is now difficult to expand the network with which to further promote Korean literature. The Online Publishers Roundtable will give us a chance to interact with international publishers interested in Korean literature and introduce our latest titles.
