Founded as Mukhakdongne in 1993, Munhakdongne Publishing Group consists of various imprints and subsidiaries—each with its own unique characteristics. Munhakdongne Publishing Group puts effort into reaching out to a wider readership through international sales. In particular, the French translation of Kim Un-su’s novel The Plotters was short-listed for the Grand Prix de Literature Policière in 2016. The rights to this novel have since been sold to 26 countries around the world. In response to the increasing demand for Korean literature worldwide, we’d like to take this opportunity to introduce even more literary works from Korea.
