Japan UNI Agency, established in 1967, is a leading full-service literary agency in Tokyo. We have been an integral part of the Japanese publishing industry through our license services. We present books in all genres, ranging from general trade books, both fiction and non-fiction, business/professional titles to children’s/young adult books.
As to Korean titles, we have been working hard to introduce them widely to the Japanese publishers using our expertise and network acquired from our long-established business. We have our long list of Japanese translations of the Korean titles so far and appreciate all Korean proprietors and cooperators.
I have been in charge of the Japanese Rights Korean titles since the end of 2018, and previously I used to be in charge of the Korean rights to the Japanese titles for about three years from 2015 to 2018.
As a leading Japanese literary agency, we hope to provide our client Japanese publishers with the latest information about fine Korean literary titles. We are also interested in the bestselling Korean fiction titles and authors.
